Free-to-play ‘Crystal of Re:union’ MMO RPG launched for mobile devices

“Crystal of Re:union,” a free-to-play MMO strategy game for mobile devices, is now available for iOS and Android devices in Southeast Asia and Oceania.

Developed by Orange Cube Inc. and gumi Inc., “Crystal of Re:union” takes place in a magical realm called Midgard. As king, your responsibilities are manifold, from cultivating your territories to battling against powerful enemies. You also get to recruit heroes, who’ll lend you their strength in your quest for glory.

The game features strong Japanese strategy RPG elements. In your bid to conquer the world, you can attack or defend against other players in real-time strategy battles. Waging war with everyone you meet, however, is foolish; to survive in this world, you’ll need to form alliances with like-minded players.

When you’re not fighting, you’re building, as your kingdom is yours to develop as you see fit. You’ll have special technologies to research, resources to grow, armies to train, and numerous infrastructures to construct and fortify.

“Crystal of Re:union” comes with a roster of characters voiced by popular Japanese voice actors, such as Yoko Hikasa, Tomokazu Sugita, Takehito Koyasu, Rina Hidaka, Miyuki Sawashiro, Yui Horie, Mamiko Noto, Akira Ishida, Yuichi Nakamura, Ami Koshimizu, and Hikaru Midorikawa.

Midgard is huge; exploring it will put you in the path of a great variety of monsters, such as dragons, minotaurs, griffins, banshees, medusas, and vampires. By defeating these enemies, you earn loot and crafting materials necessary to create and upgrade your hero’s equipment.

In addition to wearing special gear, your hero can also learn lethal skills for use in combat. And, as you progress through the game, you get to learn their unique, personal story.

A plethora of events

“Crystal of Re:union” players can expect a plethora of events, both competitive and cooperative. Players or alliances who emerge from such events with the best rankings receive significant rewards.

In fact, the game’s launch coincides with a Special Autumn Festivity called Heroes’ and Gods’ Autumn: Night of the Full Moon Over the Sea. This comes with four special events – two of them still running.

The Changé Limited Time Challenge lasts until October 15. This tasks players with defeating the Moon goddess Changé.

The Autumn Festival Celebration Login Bonus, which ends on October 24, grants you login rewards, including up to 3 Golden Golem Tomes, 100 VIP Points x 10, 10,000 Aura x 80, 100,000 Exp x 3, and more.
