Habagat to affect western Luzon, Visayas

The southwest monsoon or Habagat is affecting the western section of Luzon and Visayas, acocrding to PAGASA in its early Thursday morning forecast.

The weather bureau also reported that the regions of Ilocos, Western Visayas and the provinces of Zambales, Bataan, Mindoro, Palawan, and Negros Occidental will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with rainshowers or thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds blowing from the southwest will prevail over Luzon and Visayas and from the southeast to south over Mindanao.

The coastal waters throughout the archipelago will be slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA News
