Scattered showers expected across the eastern PHL – PAGASA

The Visayas, and the Bicol, Davao, Caraga, Northern Mindanao, and Zamboanga Peninsula Regions would experience cloudy conditions with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms due to the easterlies, PAGASA reported in a Wednesday morning forecast.

The northeast monsoon would meanwhile bring partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rain over the Batanes and Babuyan Islands, with the rest of the country expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers.

Winds would be moderate to strong from the northeast over northern and Central Luzon, where coastal waters would be moderate to rough.

Over the eastern sections of southern Luzon and the Visayas, winds would be moderate to strong from the east to northeast, with moderate to rough seas.

Finally, winds over the rest of the country would be light to moderate from the east to northeast, with slight to moderate coastal waters. — DVM, GMA News
