Scattered rains, strong winds to prevail over parts of Luzon


The tail-end of cold front will continue to influence weather in the eastern section of  Southern Luzon while the northeast Monsoon or Amihan will be affecting provinces in Northern and Central Luzon, the state weather bureau PAGASA on its early evening weather forecast.

The northeast Monsoon is forecast bring cloudy skies to scattered rains over the provinces of Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, Quirino, Nueva Vizcaya, Abra, Kalinga, Apayao, Mt. Province, Benguet, Ifugao and Aurora.

Residents of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union and Pangasinan should also expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds blowing from the northeast will prevail over northern Luzon and Aurora Province.

The weather bureau warned of rough to very rough waters over these areas.
