Isolated rains forecast for Metro Manila


The northeast monsoon will continue to be felt in northern and central Luzon while the tail-end of the cold front will still be felt in the eastern section of southern Luzon, PAGASA reported in its early Friday morning weather forecast.

Due to the tail-end of the cold front, the Bicol region, eastern Visayas and Quezon province will have cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

With the northeast monsoon, the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley and Aurora province will be cloudy with scattered rains.

Metro Manila, the Ilocos Region, and the rest of Central Luzon an CALABARZON will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains also due to the northeast monsoon.

Meanwhile, Mindanao, and the rest of Visayas and MIMAROPA will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers due to localized thunderstorms.

The coastal waters in northern Luzon and eastern section of central and southern Luzon will be rough to very rough, in the Visayas region and the rest of Luzon will be moderate to rough while in Mindanao the waters will be slight to moderate. — BAP, GMA News
