Light to moderate rain expected over the Samar provinces – PAGASA

All the Samar provinces would experience cloudy condition with scattered rainshowers and isolated thunderstorms due to the easterlies, weather service PAGASA predicted in a Saturday morning forecast.

The northeast monsoon would meanwhile partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated light rain over the Batanes.

The rest of the country would be partly cloudy to cloudy conditions with isolated rainshowers.

Winds would be moderate to strong from the northeast over northern Luzon, and the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao. Coastal waters along these areas would be from moderate to rough.

Over the rest of Luzon and the Visayas, winds would be light to moderate from the northeast with slight to moderate coastal waters.

Finally, winds over the rest of Mindanao would be light to moderate from the northeast to north with slight to moderate coastal waters. — DVM, GMA News
