Palace: Classes, gov't work to resume Wednesday, Oct. 18, 2017

Malacañang on Tuesday announced that classes and work in government offices would resume on Wednesday, October 18, 2017 amid the spread of misinformation online.

"Per Office of the Executive Secretary (OES), there is no truth to a social media post which is now circulating online that Malacanan suspended government work and classes nationwide tomorrow," the statement read.

Malacañang suspended government work and classes on Monday and Tuesday amid the two-day strike of transport group PISTON against the proposed modernization of public utility jeepneys. —Trisha Macas/JST, GMA News
