Ina Feleo posts touching Father's Day tribute to late dad Johnny Delgado

Father's Day brings back a lot of memories for people who have lost their dads, and Kapuso actress Ina Feleo was no different.

On Sunday, Ina took to Instagram to write a lengthy tribute to her father, renowned actor Johnny Delgado.

Driving back home tonight I started reminiscing on my highschool days when my dad would bring me to school once or twice a month (I was homeschooling that time) when I had to submit homework and take long exams. He would happily drive me to school, listening to the AM radio, drop me off and then park at a nearby Tropical Hut (or was it Burger Machine I can't remember) and he would wait there having a burger or two for 2 hours until I finished my exams. Then we'd drive back home again. He never complained even if it often rained and flooded in that area in Pasig. When I was aspiring to be an Olympic figure skating champion and training in the states, he would cook for me every day and bring me to the ice skating rink early in the morning. He would watch me train for hours and just sit there freezing at the bleachers, watching me train hard and fall hundreds of times literally. He watched me when my Japanese coach Sashi slapped me lightly on my forehead when I fell, and he'd laugh at me. He would leave for a while and come back with hotdogs on a bun for me to "refuel". In his last years, I took up filmmaking and he would jump in on scenes I was directing for class exercises (if you swipe left, the photo with @marc_abaya is what I'm talking about), he was also my actor together with my mother for my first short feature as a filmmaker. When he saw Labing-Labing, he told me, "Gawa pa tayo. Gusto ko sayo nalang ako aarte." It really breaks my heart a little, that that had to be the first and last. I guess I just wanted to share this. I don't think a lot of people know how he is "in person" or as a father. He was always so supportive of all of my dreams. He never got tired of dreaming with me and pushing me. I know that if he were still alive and could, he would do all of these things and be a stage father all over again for me. I miss you terribly. And I am so grateful upto now. I had the best father. I'm scared to forget these little memories I have of him, but I know that my heart will never forget the love I felt from him and for him. ??
