Megan Young, among the judges of Miss Philippines USA

Miss World 2013 Megan Young is currently in Los Angeles, California to serve as judge for the recently concluded Miss Philippines USA pageant.

Her mentor, beauty-queen maker Jonas Gaffud, and Hollywood correspondent Janet Napeles also judged for the beauty pageant, where candidates vied for two crowns: Miss Philippines USA for contestants 18 years old and above, and Miss Young Philippines USA for contestants under 18.

Twenty-three-year-old Fil-Am Nicole Guerrero was crowned Miss Philippines USA, while the title Miss Young Philippines went to Jazlynn Dizon.

The Miss Philippines USA started six years ago to develop ambassadors of good will and role models for the Filipino-American community. It has the long-term goal of sending winning candidates to compete for the titles of Miss World Philippines and Miss Universe.
