The Dr. Vicki Belo - Hayden Kho wedding by the numbers

Citing the estimates of entertainment website pep.ph, Nelson Canlas on "24 Oras Weekend" reports that the grand Paris wedding of Dr. Vicki Belo to Hayden Kho cost around P80 million.

About 241 guests from around the world flew to the City of Lights to witness the celebrity couple exchange their vows at the American Church in Paris; most of them are celebrities in cluding Kapuso Primetime royalty Dingdong Dantes and Marian Rivera, Lovi Poe, Jennyln Mercardo and Dennis Trillo.

The bride and the groom stayed at the Coco Chanel Suite of the Ritz Carlton, which according to Dr. Belo on IG, had a lot of Marie Antoinette vibe to it. According to Canlas’ report, a night there cost about P1.3 million.

The much talked-about Opera Garnier reception – a surprise to their 241 guests – featured a song and dance number by the newlyweds, opera singers welcoming the party, and a five-course meal.

It was setup by no less than 400 crew members and 25 artists.  

For transportation, including the bridal car, they coughed out about P2 million.

Factoring in Hayden Kho’s tux with the much talked-about Michael Cinco gown that the bride wore and the gowns of the three flower girls, the ensemble was in the P10 million ballpark figure.
