On a recent IG post, she detailed her struggles during pregnancy.

She wrote, "Hot flushes, vertigo, nose bleeds. From being emotional (crying because Mcdonald's cannot deliver spaghetti) to 4am leg cramps. A fender bender recently due to the heavy rains and still no househelp... We can do it baby!!!"

Lougee Basabas-Alejandro, who was once the vocalist for band Mojofly, threw Karen a baby shower last weekend.
