Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League 2nd Conference opening night

Maharlika Pilipinas Basketball League founder and senator Manny Pacquiao opened the second conference on Independence Day at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City.

In attendance were several of Pacquiao's colleagues in politics including Special Assistant to the President Bong Go, Bataan Representative Geraldine Roman, and Senator Bong Revilla's wife, Lani Mercado.

Before the double-header between General Santos City Warriors and the Marikina Shoemasters, followed by Mandaluyong El Tigre going up against Muntinlupa Cagers, 26 teams paraded with their beautiful muses including Miss Universe Philippines 2016 Maxine Medina, Miss Universe Philippines 2017 Rachel Peters, and Miss Globe Philippines 2018 Michelle Gumabao.
