Pacquiao-Bradley judge Duane Ford's 'boxing lesson' comment goes viral

In the aftermath of Timothy Bradley's split-decision win over Manny Pacquiao last Saturday (Sunday, PHL time) for the WBO welterweight title, one of the judges who gave Bradley a 115-113 win, Duane Ford, defended his verdict, saying "I thought Bradley gave Pacquiao a boxing lesson." Many people disagreed with his assessment. Ryan Maquinana of Comcast Sportsnet Bay Area tallied the unofficial results of 53 boxing writers and discovered 50 having Pacman as the victor, with only three picking Bradley. Boxing blog Fight Score Collector went even further, collecting a whopping 265 scores, with 248 having Pacquiao as the winner, only 10 for Bradley and seven draws. That opened the door for ESPN boxing writer Dan Rafael to come up with the Twitter hashtag #boxinglesson, skewering Ford for his statement. Rafael himself gave Pacquiao the edge in 11 of the 12 rounds. - GMA News
