Americans jeer Mayweather, express disappointment online
Is there no such thing as home court?
Americans went online to echo the boos hurled at Floyd Mayweather after his unanimous decision win against Manny Pacquiao at the MGM Grand Arena on Sunday.
Former heavyweight champion Mike Tyson led the legion of underwhelmed fans:
We waited 5 years for that... #underwhelmed #MayPac

With other Americans following suit:
I am was done with this #maypac fight !! Booo.... i have seen better fights on facebook ???????????? with… https://t.co/3mWcpbn3jj

That may be "Boxing", but in no way was that a fight. #MayPac

The disappointment came not just from Mayweather's demeanor during the fight, but also from his post-fight interview:
Weirdest most self-absorbed interview. #MayPac

Omg! @FloydMayweather is still rambling on & on & on!! He loves to talk about himself. What a complete Narsasist! #MayPac

Some took jabs at the American for hugging and running:
Winning a fight by controlling it through running away is not winning. Blind judges! #TeamPacquiao #MayPac @MannyPacquiao @FloydMayweather

Your the "world's greatest boxer" instead of knocking your opponent out you knock out the viewers by running around #MayPac #PacquiaoWins

I paid $20 to see #MayPac & still felt ripped. It was one man running & another trying to catch him for 12 rounds. I wish Pac caught him! — Matt Roden (@mattroden) May 3, 2015
While others remained torn on having a rematch:
There will be one more #MayPac in September as a #RetirementFight. Just wait on it.
