LeBron, Kobe rip Trump for uninviting Curry to the White House
US President Donald Trump has withdrawn his invitation for NBA champion Golden State Warriors to visit the White House, and his tweet about it did not go well with basketball greats.
Going to the White House is considered a great honor for a championship team.Stephen Curry is hesitating, therefore invitation is withdrawn!
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) September 23, 2017
Curry has been a vocal critic of the Republican president, and has publicly expressed his intention of not coming to the White House for the annual invitation of NBA champions.
It did not take long for Kobe Bryant and LeBron James to respond to Trump.
A #POTUS whose name alone creates division and anger. Whose words inspire dissension and hatred can't possibly "Make America Great Again"

James, on the other hand, was more vocal.
U bum @StephenCurry30 already said he ain't going! So therefore ain't no invite. Going to White House was a great honor until you showed up!
— LeBron James (@KingJames) September 23, 2017
James retweeted a video posted by Uninterrupted where he explained his tweet.
"And when I wake up I see that a colleague of mine has been uninvited of something he said he didn't even want to go to in the first place, to the White House, that's just something I can't stand for." —ALG/LA, GMA News
