PBA: Players react to Balkman's meltdown
Petron Blaze Boosters import Renaldo Balkman seemed like the perfect fit for the team, giving his side hustle, energy and leadership. But the NBA veteran showed a more violent side, Friday, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, in a loss to the Alaska Aces.

Late in the game, Balkman went wild with the Aces pulling away, making contact with referees while arguing for a foul. As his teammates tried to pull him away, Balkman shoved Ronald Tubid, and then put a hand around Arwind Santos' neck.
Alaska would go on to win 83-73, but the feat was lost in the wake of what had happened. One thing's for sure, after a few games of relative peace and calm, the Petronovella is back on.
