Bomb detonates in Basilan, no casualties reported

Security forces in Basilan were placed on alert after an improvised explosive device detonated Wednesday evening in Lamitan City, local police said.

 

No one was injured in the blast, but some electricity posts were damaged.

 

The blast occured about seven kilometers from the Lamitan city hall.  — ELR, GMA News
