Ano ang dalangin at mensahe mo para kay Pope Francis?

Kaugnay ng pagbisita sa bansa ni Pope Francis, naglaan ang GMA News Online ang puwang para sa mga mensahe at panalangin ng mga kababayan para sa tinuguriang "People's Pope," na nais magpatawag sa mga Pinoy bilang si "Lolo Kiko."

Sa microsite ng GMA News Online na Pope Francis, makikita ang mga balita, video, at mga larawan tungkol sa mga paghahanda sa pagdating ng Santo Papa, at kaniyang mga aktibidad sa limang araw niyang pananatili sa bansa simula sa Enero 15.

Hindi naman nakapagtataka kung marami ang nasasabik sa pagdating ng lider ng Simbahang Katolika sa Pilipinas. Batay sa 2010 Census, tinatayang nasa 74.2 milyon o 80.6 porsiyento ng populasyon ng bansa ay Katoliko.

Nakasaad naman sa datos ng Pew Research Center’s 2010, na pangatlo ang Pilipinas sa mga bansa sa mundo na may pinakamaraming populasyon ng Katoliko, kasunod ng Brazil (126.750 milyon) at Mexico (96.450 milyon).

Taong 1995 pa nang huling may bumisitang Santo Papa sa Pilipinas (si Saint Pope John Paul II), kaya marami sa ating mga kababayan ang nagnanais na makita at makadaupang-palad ang lider ngayon ng Vatican na si Pope Francis, na kilala sa kaniyang kababaang-loob.

Ngunit inaasahan na dudumugin ng maraming tao ang mga lugar na kaniyang pupuntahan at tiyak na magiging pahirapan ang makalapit sa kaniya. Kaya naman ang iba nating kababayan, idinaan sa social media ang paglalahad ng kanilang nais iparating sa Santo Papa.

When I was at the lowest point of my life, I rediscovered God and His unconditional love.
In one year: I lost my job due to bankruptcy, got my heart broken, face a health scare, and bid goodbye two of the most important people in my life--my grandparents.
Amid the darkness that was surrounding my world then, a community ushered me back to His embrace and started to nurse my spiritual life back to health. But, choosing to love God is not an easy path.
