10 abandoned parcels in Pasay found to contain P14-M illegal drugs


About 10 abandoned parcels at the Central Mail Exchange Center in Pasay City were found to contain more than P14 million worth of illegal drugs by the Bureau of Customs (BOC),  according to a report on "Saksi" Monday.

The first five parcels that contain liquid marijuana were from Taiwan, Ireland, and Malaysia that cost up to more than P300,000.

Five other parcels from France and the Netherlands contain more than 8,000 pieces of ecstasy tablets that cost more than P14 million.

The parcels were supposed to be sent to various address in the country.

The drugs have been brought to the appropriate agency for proper disposal. — BAP, GMA Integrated News
