Man nabbed for allegedly raping minor stepdaughter since 2015

A man was arrested in Quezon for allegedly raping his minor stepdaughter since 2015.

According to John Consulta's report on "24 Oras,"  police said the victim is pregnant and is expected to have the baby in June.

Investigation showed that the victim's youngest sister is also being raped by the suspect.

The 42-year-old suspect was arrested in a dense area in a police operation.

The victim's aunt reported the crime to the police.

She said that the victim was being raped three times a week by her stepfather whenever her mother was not home.

"Malungkot po siya. Minsan natutulala po siya. At lagi po siyang umiiyak,"  the aunt said.

(She's sad. Sometime's she'd stare blankly. And she's always crying.)

The victim was said to have told her mother about the rapes but the latter reportely didn't believe her. —NB, GMA Integrated News
