Three years after the release of his self-titled debut album, James Wright is back with 'Just Wright.'

According to the Fil-Aus singer, the new GMA Records-released album is a lot different from the first.

“[The first one was] parang puro ballads, puro love songs, puro pang theme song. So what we decided on the second album is ipakita natin na may ibang side si James Wright… Nung una [na album], puro tuxedo, puro ballad, puro Michael Bublé style, Frank Sinatra. Now we’re gonnna show you na may pang-Michael Jackson side, may pang-Boyz II Men ,” he said.

'Just Wright' is a mixture of genres and showcases his versatility, but songs are still unified by his strong and impressive voice.

“…We have variations of songs dito sa album. May pop songs like Please Come Back, may upbeat songs like Open Up. Pero syempre naman, hindi mawawala yung pang-theme song, pang ballad ni James Wright, [ang] My Destiny,” he added.

Despite the new flavor this set of songs brings, his strongest influence remains to be Bublé.

“I’ve evolved [and] learned to appreciate people like Michael Jackson [but] I’ll always idolize Michael Bublé. He will always be the inspiration as to how I perform onstage, 'yung tipong magrerelate siya with the audience 120% if he only can,” he noted.

James’ second album is now available digitally on Spotify and iTunes, and physically in Astroplus, Astro Vision and leading music stores nationwide.
