Our hearts bleed for content creator Zeinab Harake, when she mourned the death of her baby boy in April. The whole family of Carmina Villarroel was in pain after their Daddy Reggie passed away last June.

We all grieved when actress Krista Ranillo shared in April 2022 that her dear Lola Gloria Sevilla passed away at the age of 90.
In her Instagram post, Krista expressed how she misses her grandmother. She wrote in the caption, “I can't sleep. I miss you. I'm so thankful we were able to spend time ever since you moved here to the US. It's still not enough time. I wish we had more time. I wish we had more memories together. It's been 10 days since we last saw each other and my heart is breaking knowing I won't see you again.”
Everyone was heartbroken when vlogger Zeinab Harake lost her son, Baby Moon, in April.
In a tell-all interview with Toni Gonzaga, Zeinab accused her ex-partner Skusta Clee for not caring about their daughter Bia and their late son. “Wala talaga siyang pakialam kay Moon, wala siyang pakialam kay Bia. Hinahalikan niya 'yung anak niya habang gumagawa siya ng kung anu-anong bagay na hindi naman dapat."
Carmina Villarroel was emotional as she remembered her late father Reggie who died in June 2022. In her Instagram post, she uploaded a throwback photo of Daddy Reggie with the caption, “Daddy Regy you're reunited with Mommy Menchu. Your one and only. Your first and last.”
Twins Cassy and Mavy also mourned the loss of their late grandfather. Mavy posted on Instagram, “It's not easy, I know you hate to see us cry. I'll do my best to smile. don't worry, I'll keep mom safe.”
It was a painful goodbye for Aiai delas Alas after her adopted mother Justa died in June. She was 93.
The multi-awarded comedienne took the opportunity to thank her adopted mother for everything she did for her. In a tearjerking Instagram post, she said, “Ma mi miss kita MAMA, MOMMY, MOTHER GOOSE, MUDRAKELS , and originally INAY .. 90th bday nya to .. hindi na nya inabot sa july 19 dapat 94 na sya.. dbale mama goodlife ka naman atsaka hindi ka nahirapan sa pag alis mo ( the best ka talaga LORD super pray ako kanina na wag ka mahirapan and hindi nga ).. i love you and thank you sa pag mamahal , pag alaga , at pag papaaral sa akin. Rest ka na mama .. kamusta mo ako kay LORD AND MAMA MARY.”
In the middle of her campaign to claim a title in Binibining Pilipinas 2022 pageant, Herlene "Hipon Girl" Budol lost her lola Nanay Bireng.
Herlene wrote, “Mamimiss kta ng sobra sya ay isang special na babae at ang pagkawala sa kanya ay lubos na nararamdaman ng marami, even though she lived a full life. Sa nakalipas na isang buwan, matapang siyang lumaban sa kidney failure at sakit due to ageing. Marami narin komplikasyon tulad ng High blood, diabetic at pneumonia at ang pinaka masakit ang makita siyang nag durusa sa mga huling oras na iyon ay napaka hirap.”
The comedienne-vlogger also made a promise to her Nanay Bireng. She said, “Sisikapin kong maging tagumpay sa lahat ng laban. Para pag ako ang nagwagi, litrato ko na naman ang ibabahagi niyo sa langit.”
The year 2022 was a difficult one for actress-turned-vlogger Rica Peralejo. After revealing that she suffered a miscarriage, she also had to deal with the painful experience of losing someone close to her heart.
In her vlog last July 24, Rica opened up saying, “2022 has been quite a year for me, because this is not exactly the first pain of the year. This is also the year that I lost my eldest sister that I'm very-very close to. She died in April [2022].”
The month of August was a challenging one for the family of 'Parokya ni Edgar' vocalist Chito Miranda, Jr.
Chito shared on Instagram last August 12 that his father passed away on Monday. The OPM icon stated that his family decided to have a simple wake for his dad Alfonso. "To all our family and friends, we decided to keep everything simple and intimate. immediate family lang talaga. Hope you guys understand.”

Daryl shared on Instagram a couple of throwback photos with his mom and penned a heartbreaking tribute for her. He wrote, “My life will NEVER be the same without you. I will miss you terribly, until I see you again one day, in heaven. No more pain Mami. I love you so much.”
In a separate post on Facebook last November 1, the singer admitted that it was hard seeing his mom lying in a coffin.
He shared, “Nakita ko si Mami kanina for the first time na nasa ataul, di ako makalapit, para akong bumalik sa pagka-bata, parang batang ngumangawa na tila may isusumbong sa nanay, pero this time, wala na ang nanay.

TV presenter and former volleyball star Gretchen Ho took to Instagram to remember her late father, James Ho.
In a heartwarming tribute, Grecthen shared a throwback photo of her dad cheering her on in one of her games and simply captioned it, “Panalo na tayo.. Love you dad. You will live on in us. Rest easy.” Mr. Ho died at the age of 65.
Gretchen posted her heartfelt gratitude to everyone for the amazing support her family is getting amid this difficult moment. She said, “Thank you everyone for coming. Dad I'm sure is very happy to see all of you. Thank you, thank you.”
Actor Andrew Schimmer was devastated when he confirmed in a Facebook video yesterday, December 20, that his wife Jorhomy Reiena Rovero or Jho passed away already. In another post, Andrew called Jho as the love of his life.
“ The Love of my Life…my wife..my best friend.. my partner in everything. Remember your promise, together forever.”
The death of Jho is a tragic moment not just for Andrew who supported his wife throughout her ordeal in the hospital and their two children: Andrea and Xander.
