Richard Gomez shares quick recipe for mashed potatoes

Actor and politician Richard Gomez is back with another easy recipe for his online cooking series Goma at Home.

Shooting once again from the beautiful outdoor kitchen of his home in Ormoc City, he shared his quick recipe for mashed potatoes.

"Ito, masarap 'to for side dish but you can also eat is as it is. It's good with sausages. It's good with meats. But ako, I prefer eating it just mashed potato. I want it a little soft. I want it creamy," he shares.

Here's how to make Richard's mashed potatoes with bacon bits and parmesan cheese


Ingredients
potatoes
water
salt
bacon
rosemary
garlic
milk
salt
pepper
parmesan cheese

Procedure
1. Boil potatoes in a pot with salt for 10 minutes or until soft
2. Mash the potatoes using a ricer or any mashing tool
3. Chop bacon into small pieces then cook until crispy
4. Infuse a sprig of rosemary and a few cloves of garlic in a pot of milk under medium heat. Be careful not to boil it
5. When milk is warm, remove the rosemary and garlic
6. Add butter and the infused milk to the mashed potatoes
7. Add salt and pepper
8. Chop the bacon into even smaller pieces and add to the mashed potatoes
9. Fold in grated parmesan cheese
10. Top the mashed potatoes with more bacon and serve
