Megan Young and Mikael Daez move out of first home

Megan Young and Mikael Daez have finally moved out of their first home.

As early as October 2020, Megan and Mikael have been considering moving to Subic, Zambales, the actress's hometown, to spend time away from the hustle and bustle of Metro Manila. The couple, in fact, stayed for a few days over the holidays at their home outside the city to test it out and see if they can adjust to living the provincial life.

During their stay, however, the couple noticed that it is not yet ideal for them to live in Subic as their property needs a lot of repair and renovation. But while their plan to move to the province is put on hold, Megan and Mikael pushed through with their plan to move out of their first home.

The couple gave an update on their social media pages with their photo taken in their now-empty condo unit.

Mikael wrote, “Our move out is 95% complete with several days to spare! We planned super early and made sure to not overwork ourselves during each moving day. We ended up with a happy pace and now it's time to properly settle in our new home which is a maze of boxes and garbage bags. Cheers to a super fresh start in 2021.”

Megan, meanwhile, said, “Aaaaand we're outta here!!! So sad to be leaving this place because it was our first home as husband and wife but I'm happy we are moving to a place that we can finally call our own. We decided to make it a chill move and started two weeks ago so that we wouldn't get stressed with our move. That was probably the best decision we made for this transition. Can't wait to fix up our new place! And can't wait to declutter!!”

Moving to a new home is definitely a big milestone for the young couple who just celebrated their first anniversary early this month.
