Already making plans for your post-pandemic summer getaway? Here's a new destination you should add to your post-pandemic travel bucket list. A theme and water park in Thailand inspired by movies such as Jumanji, Ghostbusters, and more is set to open this October. It's called Columbia Pictures' Aquaverse.

Aquaverse is the first-ever theme and water park of Columbia Pictures. The project is led by Sony Pictures Entertainment, which owns Columbia Pictures, in partnership with Amazon Falls.

The 14-acre upcoming tourist spot is located in the seaside town of Bangsaray, Thailand. It is 20 minutes away from Pattaya and an hour and a half away from Bangkok.

The theme and water park is set to open in October this year and will cater to visitors of all ages.

Aquaverse will have eight themed immersive zones where people can watch live shows, enjoy interactive props, themed restaurants, unique sets, and specialty merchandise and retail locations.

Plus, they also have both land and water attractions inspired by iconic films such as Hotel Transylvania, Men in Black, and Bad Boys, which are Sony franchises.

Here's a rundown of the rides in Aquaverse:

Hotel Transylvania

This kid-friendly zone is Aquaverse's biggest water park attraction, with over 100 water features such splash buckets, water rockets, and so much more.
