EXO's Suho shares what he feels about possibly being forgotten

By Marah Ruiz

EXO's Suho enlisted for his mandatory military service yesterday, May 14.

This means that he will be on hiatus from any kind of show business-related activities for about two years.

In an interview with ODG where he met children and answered their questions, he once shared how he would feel about possibly being forgotten.

"If the love you receive begins to shrink, how do you think you will feel?" the kids ask innocently.

Suho ponders the question for a while before saying that no matter what happens, he wants to be a good influence so people will remember him.

"If the love starts to fade? Well that's true. If I got really old, people will start to forget me. I don't know, actually. To be honest, I want to be someone who is remembered, who puts a good influence and stay in their memories.

"Being popular isn't really that important. I just want to be someone who's remembered. So if I'm just remembered, I think that would be enough," he says.

It would seem that he will have no problem staying in people's memories as his loyal fans have promised to wait for him to come back to them after finishing his service.

Meanwhile, watch Suho answer tough questions from kids and perform a bit of his song 'Let's Love' here:

Suho reportedly entered the Nonsan Army Training Center where he will receive four weeks of basic training before he starts his duty as a public service worker.

He is the third EXO member to enlist, following Xiumin and D.O.
