By Michelle Caligan

K-pop boy group SHINee indulged SHAWOLs with various teaser images days before the release of their seventh album 'Don't Call Me' on Monday, February 22.

A week after their special broadcast "The Ringtone: SHINee is Back" on January 31, the group dropped a mood sampler video on their social media accounts, together with the first set of their seven teaser images.

The 67-second video, titled "Fake Reality," showed members Onew, Key, Minho, and Taemin individually in a colorful yet intriguing set before coming together for a group shot.

The line "In this area, some of my beliefs become a fantasy, and some of my fantasies become a belief" is then played before they look up to a light source.

Another set of teaser images had the boys photographed with flowers:

The last set was dubbed as 'Reality' and came with a "reality clip" of each member:

Everyday from February 16 to 19, the character teasers of the members were uploaded on the group's social media accounts.

The details of the album--which will come in two photobook versions and four jewel case versions--were finally revealed on Tuesday, February 16.

Based on their timetable, the music video teaser will drop tomorrow, February 20.

The music video itself will be released at 6:00 p.m. KST along with the album on February 22. This is preceded by a live broadcast titled 'SHINee's Calling: Answered" on VLive at 5:00 p.m. KST.

As part of their promotions, SHINee will have a comeback show on tvN that will air on February 24 at 11:50 p.m. KST.

They will also appear on the February 20 episode of the Korean variety show Knowing Brothers. Watch the teaser below:

The SHINee members have also been very active on their VLive channel, going online everyday on the week leading to their comeback and giving their fans updates and song spoilers.

They even treated SHAWOLs to an impromptu karaoke session by singing "If I Ain't Got You," "Just Once," "Lately," "Listen," and other songs while on the way home after a schedule-filled day.

"Don't Call Me" is also the title of their first single, which was said to have been first offered by SM Entertainment founder Lee Soo-man to legendary K-Pop singer BoA. "Marry You," which they performed at the end of 'The Ringtone: SHINee is Back,' is their B-side track.

SHINee's much-awaited comeback was first confirmed during the SMTOWN "Culture Humanity" concert on January 1, 2021. Prior to this, the members have been hinting at a comeback after Minho was discharged from the military in November 2020.

Group maknae (youngest member) Taemin--who pursued his solo career and became a member of SuperM during SHINee's hiatus--is reportedly enlisting for his mandatory military service by the end of the year, but no confirmation has been released as of this writing.
