Ruru Madrid shared the highlights of his recent motorcycle race.

Primetime action hero Ruru Madrid recently participated in the Yamaha bLU cRU All-Star Racing Cup.

He served as one of the celebrity team captains of the motor cycle race along with other celebrity motorcycle enthusiasts Miguel Tanfelix, Kyline Alcantara, Ella Cruz, Markus Paterson, and Marlon Stockinger.

Their teams consisted of over 60 aspiring riders, and were guided by professional rider and coach Joey "Storm" Rivero as well as other international riders.

Ruru shared some highlights of the event, including him and his team riding on the track, listening to the briefing and debriefing, as well as putting on safety equipment for the ride.

"Hataw sa track kasama ang Yamaha bLU cRU All-Star Racing Cup! ," he wrote on Instagram.

Ruru has long been fond of riding motorcycles.

He has previously underwent dirt bike and superbike training.

His passion for motorbikes made him the perfect choice to be the lead star of top-rating full action series Black Rider where he played a delivery rider who becomes a vigilante hero to the masses.

Meanwhile, Ruru has been busy preparing for the return of 2022's most watched TV show Lolong.

There has yet to be an official announcement, but Ruru is poised to reprise his role in the show as the titular Lolong, a young man who is able to communicate with a giant crocodile.

Ruru recently attended a training session in Filipino martial arts with expert Ronnie Royce Base.

He has also been spotted in several meetings with the show's creative team.

Aside from Lolong, Ruru is also busy with the movie Green Bones where he will star alongside Kapuso Drama King Dennis Trillo.

Green Bones is the entry of GMA Pictures and GMA Public Affairs for the 50th edition of Metro Manila Film Festival in December 2024.

The film will be under the helm of award-winning director Zig Dulay and is written by National Artist for Films and Broadcast Arts Ricky Lee, and 2023 MMFF Best Screenplay winner Anj Atienza.
