This kid from a chocolate milk brand ad is now a CSB player | NCAA Philippines

Does this face look familiar?

If it does, it is because this kid appeared in several advertisements when he was young, including being the face of a chocolate milk brand.

The kid's name is Prince Carlos, and he is now all grown-up and playing for the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde.

In an episode of 'Rise Up Stronger: The Road to NCAA Season 96,' Carlos was shown a photo with basketball players and former collegiate stars Kiefer Ravena and Chris Tiu.

"Those pics bring back memories. Good ones. It was really such a fun and good experience. Knowing I was with two great basketball players, it's such a blessing na nakasama ko sila," Carlos said.

But aside from Carlos' background in showbiz, some athletes from the NCAA also have showbiz blood running in their family.

Take for example University of Perpetual Help System Dalta basketball player James Labarda, who is the son of actress and former beauty queen Rochelle Barrameda.

Labarda said it is fun to have a celebrity mom, but he also feels the pressure being the son of one.

"'Yung mga relatives ko, pinipilit ako mag-showbiz, which is not my thing. Basketball talaga."

San Beda University's Justine Lapid, meanwhile, is from the famous Lapid clan, with her father being action star Jess Lapid. She is also related to Senator Lito Lapid and Kapuso actress Ysabel Ortega.

Watch these athletes as they prove their talents in NCAA which will air on different platforms of GMA Network.

Get to know more about NCAA athletes in GMA Synergy's 'Rise Up Stronger: The Road to NCAA Season 96' every weekday (2:45 p.m.), Saturdays (4:30 p.m.), and Sundays (5:05 p.m.) on GTV.
