Jun Roque transfers to Letran after two-year stint with Perpetual | NCAA Philippines

Jun Roque has found a new home months after ending a two-year stint with University of Perpetual Help System DALTA in the NCAA.

The 6-foot-4 rising star confirmed that he transferred to Colegio de San Juan de Letran where he would reunite with other former ALTAs in Mark Denver Omega and Carlo Ferreras.

Roque is the latest addition to the busy offseason haul of the Knights as they look to recover from a gloomy Season 99 campaign that saw them rack up just two wins in 18 outings.

He will boost the core that will also include Kevin Santos, Rafael Go, and Deo Cuajao, as well as other recruits in Peter Rosillo and NAASCU star John Sherick Estrada, who is expected to suit up come Season 100.

Roque was among the pillars of Perpetual last year, where he posted 12.94 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.06 assists, 1.44 steals, and 0.72 blocks and emerged as the Most Improved Player. The 22-year-old baller was also named to the Mythical Five cast alongside MVP Clint Escamis, Enoch Valdez, JP Maguliano, and Warren Bonifacio.
