Fire hits 30 houses in Cebu City

A fire hit a residential area in Sitio Living Water in Barangay Basak Pardo, Cebu City on Good Friday, affecting an estimated 30 houses in the neighborhood.

According to a report by GMA Regional TV's Lou Anne Mae Rondina, the first alarm was raised at 9:57 a.m. while fire out was declared out at 11:27 a.m.

One of the angles that authorities were looking at is that there was a pot session in one of the houses earlier in the day which could have caused the fire.

Two suspects in the incident were under the custody of authorities as of posting time.
