PGH Medical Foundation to stage fun run

The Philippine General Hospital Medical Foundation (PGHMF) will be staging a fun run dubbed as "TAKBO Para sa PGH" on April 25, 2010 at the CCP Film Center. Featuring 3k, 5k, and 10k categories, proceeds from registration in and sponsorship of the event will be added to the PGHMF Charity Patients Fund, which is being used to provide indigent patients with much-needed medicines. According to PGHMF president Dr. Gregorio T. Alvior Jr., "On a monthly average, the PGHMF requires roughly P1 million to help the thousands of indigent patients and the PGH Fun Run is only one of several ways one can help." The event has an early bird registration fee of P350.00. From April 16 to race day, the fee will be P450.00.
