Museo Walo celebrates first anniversary with Sancta Maria Mater Dei exhibit

Museo Walo, Milrose Corporation’s tribute to the eight contributing artists to its latest development, The Batis Project, is an institution crafted in the spirit and cause of the arts in the Philippines. It is a museum founded in honour of eight artists at the pinnacle of their careers in the fields of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Interior Design, Furniture Design, Fashion Design, Ceramic Pottery, Sculpture and Painting. With its opening last year, the museum has since been holding up to its advocacy to promote and to develop Philippine Art. So upon reaching its first anniversary on the 8th of December 2011, Museo Walo is celebrating this momentous occasion with another exhibit entitled Sancta Maria Mater Dei. It will be featuring over a hundred works of art by Mona Buencamino and the Paete Artists Guild.  

The opening of the exhibit will be on December 10, 2011 (Saturday, 10AM) at Museo Walo, on the 23rd floor Tower 2 of the Insular Life Corporate Centre in Filinvest Corporate City, Alabang, Muntinlupa City.

 

As part of the advocacy to help not only Filipino artists but the Filipino people as well, proceeds from the sale of the pieces will be donated to Fr. Fernando Suarez’s Catholic Faith Foundation. Press release from Museo Walo
