Step up this Down Syndrome Consciousness Month in February

This February is Down Syndrome Consciousness Month. The Down Syndrome Association of the Philippines invites you to show some love and support by joining their activities from February 3 to 19.

 

The month-long events will be teed-off by a golf fund-raising event at the Tagaytay Midlands. On February 3, the DSAPI celebrates its 20th year and the 10th Down Syndrome Consciousness Month with the 9th Tee-up for Down Golf Tournament. The DSAPI hopes to get more sponsorships and players in the annual event. Tickets are P2,500 each inclusive of Green Fee, Cart and Lunch.

 

Sponsorship packages are P10,000, P20,000 and P50,000. 

 

P10T includes 1 free ticket worth P2,500.

P20T includes 2 free tickets worth P2,500 each. Major holes 

P50T includes 4 free tickets worth P2,500 each. Hole # 1 or # 9.

 

Registration is at 6:30am, and shotgun start at 7:30am.

 

There will be an art exhibit from February 16 to 19 at the Rockwell Powerplant Mall.  

Meanwhile a Happy Walk is scheduled on February 19 at the SM North EDSA Skydome. Dubbed as "Step Up for Down," this year's Happy Walk begins at 10am after the 9am mass. Registration begins at 8am. After the walk, the kids will perform a showcase of talents in "Simply Amazing" in the afternoon.

 

The registration fee is P50 with a raffle ticket. Individuals with Down Syndrome can join the walk for free. Those who will join as a group are encouraged to bring their streamers.
