Public school children join Ateneo run to benefit feeding programs

The Ateneo de Manila University through the Ateneo Center for Educational Development (ACED) will hold a fun run dubbed “Run to Feed” on February 26. The run “aims to raise money,  support, and awareness of ACED's work toward public school development, particularly its feeding programs in public elementary schools, which include those in Quezon City,  Parañaque, Valenzuela, and Bacnotan (La Union).”

A number elementary and high school students from ACED’s partner public schools will join the run to promote this cause. Some private schools in Quezon City have shown their support by sponsoring participants from the public schools. Among those that have shown their support are St. Theresa’s College and Maria Montessori School. Individual donors have also sponsored participants from ACED’s partner public schools to join the run.

Among Run to Feed’s corporate sponsors are Cebu Pacific Air, Johnny Rockets Philippines, Katinko, Vibal Publishing, Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdog, Purefoods Fun Nuggets, Gatorade Philippines, Kraft Foods and Blue Crew.
Registration for Run to Feed is extended until February 24 at the ACED office at Faber Hall at Ateneo de Manila University. Help uplift public school education in the country by supporting Ateneo’s feeding programs in its partner public schools!
