Coleman, Discovery Channel set the first-ever Urban Survival Camp in the PHL

Coleman, the world leader in outdoor products such as coolers, tents and flashlights, in partnership with Discovery Channel, sets the first-ever Urban Survival Camp in the Philippines slated on May 19, 2012, Saturday to Sunday, at the SM Mall of Asia grass grounds near San Miguel By the Bay.

 

The overnight event will be the definitive celebration on how to experience the outdoors without having to go far.  Coleman gives participants the unique opportunity to experience the excitement and adventure of camping without having to travel too far or spend too much.  This spearheading jamboree and fair is a rare moment for city folks to take a break from hectic routines and celebrate the fun of the outdoors through various talks, demonstrations, and exhibits regarding basic mountaineering, outdoor cooking, stargazing, night photography, and many more!  Bonfire roasting, games and pocket activities, a mini entertainment show, and an outdoor cinema like no other are in store for those who opt to stay for the night. Everybody is encouraged to pitch their own Coleman tent and if you don’t have one, we have tents you can borrow.
