TELUS International Philippines welcomes University of Antique students

Top call center and outsourcing services provider TELUS International Philippines (TIP) recently welcomed students from the University of Antique (UA) for a tour of its Market! Market! facility. 

 

TIP has always been a performance-driven organization, providing its members with guidance through mentorship program and training, as well as innovative people practices and a one-of-a-kind culture. 

 

Being the only state university in Western Visayas, UA regularly conducts educational tours in order to widen the horizons of its students. They have chosen the BPO/ICT space in particular to broaden their knowledge of this rapidly growing industry, where their students can grow their careers. 

 

The site tour proved to be an eye-opener for the students, as they saw firsthand the state-of-the-art facilities and technology being used by the organization for its team members and day-to-day operations. 

 

UA Dean of Computer Studies Nelly Mistio was all praises for TIP’s hospitality and was equally amazed at the company’s unique culture. “We have started visiting call centers back in 2004. We have been to other leading call centers, but we haven’t seen facilities such as these.
