First in the market, your first cup in the morning
Coffee, next to petroleum, is the most traded commodity in the world. Globally, 1,400 million cups of coffee are consumed drunk each day, while an average of 8 out of 10 Filipinos drink 2.5 cups of coffee daily.
Local consumption most likely increases during bed-weather season, when it’s easy succumb to the urge of crawling back to bed, curling up, and having a warm cup of coffee for company.
Coffee indulgence is intrinsic in almost every Filipino, as some may not even last a day without it. Next to water, coffee is the most consumed drink in the world. “Coffee is a staple in our country, whether we admit it or not. Through the years, Filipinos have become more discriminating when it comes to coffee. A good drink for one person may not be as satisfying to another.
