Back to basics in the 14th UST National Campus Journalism Fellowship

The Varsitarian, the 84-year-old official student publication of the University of Santo Tomas, will hold Inkblots, the 14th UST National Campus Journalism Fellowship, October 22 to 24, at the Thomas Aquinas Research Complex (TARC) auditorium, UST, España, Manila.

 

Theme for this year’s edition is “Back to Basics,” which reflects the Varsitarian’s renewed emphasis on the fundamental rules of accuracy, fairness, and objectivity of basic journalism.

 

The workshop is open to college campus journalists and students, high school journalism instructors, and campus press advisers.

 

Invited lecturers are broadcaster Mariz Umali, sports columnist Quinito Henson, Associated Press photographer Aaron Favila, and award-winning writer Eros Atalia, among others.
