UPAA launches Centennial logo making contest


The University of the Philippines Alumni Association (UPAA) has launched a logo design contest for its 100th Anniversary in 2013.
 
Founded in 1913, the UPAA banners the theme “Bagong Siglo. Bagong Sigla.” for its Centennial celebration. The logo design should be built around this theme.
 
The contest is open to all U.P. System alumni and students. Entries may be in any medium, measuring no bigger than 8.5in x 11in; enclosed with the entry sender’s name, course, year graduated or last enrolled in, email address and contact number.
 
Participants may submit more than one entry; and may likewise win more than one prize. The UPAA will award the following to the winning designs: 1st Prize P20,000, 2nd Prize P10,000, and 3rd Prize P5,000 and certificates.
 
Entries must be submitted on or before November 16, 2012, to the UPAA office at the Ang Bahay ng Alumni, Magsaysay Ave., U.P. Diliman Campus, Quezon City; or emailed to upalumn@yahoo.com.  Winners will be notified by phone and email not later than November 30, 2012.
