UPAA to host first organizational meeting of 2013 UP Jubilarians

Calling all graduates of the University of the Philippines batches 1953, 1963, 1973 and 1988! You are all invited to attend the first organizational meeting of UP 2013 Jubilarians on October 16, 2012, 2:00 p.m. at the UP Alumni Association (UPAA) Board Room, second floor of the Ang Bahay ng Alumni, UP Diliman Campus, Quezon City.

 

Sponsored by the UPAA, the meeting is in preparation for the UP General Alumni-Faculty Homecoming and Reunion which will be held on June 22, 2013. It will also coincide with the Centennial Year celebration of UPAA. Up for discussion are the batch theme, proposed program and timeline, pre-event alumni activities and yearbook content, among others. The gathering also aims to finalize appointment of batch representatives.

 

“We are starting the preparations early so we can celebrate the jubilee in grand fashion. We call on all our Diamond (1953), Golden (1963), Ruby (1973) and Silver (1988) graduates to actively participate to make the homecoming memorable for all our alumni attendees,” said Regent Ponciano E. Rivera, Jr., UPAA President.

 

Attendees are requested to come in their Sunday best as the meeting will be documented in pictures for the 2013 yearbook and used for other possible publicity.
