BPI Family launches online car loan promo

BPI Family Savings Bank has launched “Online Auto Madness,” an online auto loan promo running from March 7 to 31. "BPI Family is supportive to the evolving needs of the market. We understand that almost everything is now available online and we want to bring this convenience to our clients," bank president Teodoro Limcaoco said at the promo's launch in Makati on Thursday. Limcaoco said that BPI has already been conducting the “Auto Madness” promo in malls nationwide, but the online version is the first in the country. Loan applicants can log on to bpiautomadness.com, where they can choose a car from a list, compute for the down payment and monthly amortization, and fill out and submit the application firm. According to Limcaoco, an applicant can get a loan decision within three to eight hours. Car companies participating in the promo include Hyundai Asia Resources Inc., Toyota Motor Philippines, Nissan Motor Philippines, Mitsubishi Motor Philippines, Motor Image Pilipinas. BPI Auto Loans head David Sarmiento said the bank might do the promo again next quarter. BPI Family Savings Bank is  a subsidiary of the Bank of the Philippine Islands. — BM, GMA News
