Catch Lawson live at Eastwood Mall Open Park

The band behind smash hits ‘When She Was Mine’ and ‘Taking Over Me’, will be making their much-awaited Manila debut with a live performance at the Eastwood Mall Open Park on April 9, at 8pm.

 

Fans of the London-based quartet can enjoy the must-see show for free or buy tickets to the VIP areas at select Odyssey, Astro Vision and Astro Plus outlets. Composed of guitarist and lead vocalist Andy Brown, bassist Ryan Fletcher, lead guitarist Joel Peat and drummer Adam Pitts, Lawson is one of the hottest up and coming bands in the UK.

 

The band is coming off a breakthrough year, which saw them burst into the UK music scene and near on top of most music charts following the release of their debut album Champman Square. Their debut single, ‘When She Was Mine’, reached as high as No.4 on the UK singles chart, while their follow-up release ‘Taking Over at Me’ peaked at No.3 also on the same chart. Just weeks after its release, Champman Square became the No.4 best-selling record on the UK Albums Chart.

 

Aside from these recording breakthroughs, Lawson is also a proven hit on the road. The band has played as supporting act to Britain’s most popular pop stars and other international acts such as The Wanted, Will Young and Avril Lavigne. Last year, Lawson successfully headlined its own tour, which went all over the UK.
