Kolisko Waldorf School to hold open house 'Nurture' event

“I hate school! You can’t make me go back!”

Sounds familiar? Your child may be experiencing school stress.

Most children today don’t have enough play time even at home. As soon as they enter kindergarten, they are subjected to rigorous testing, workbook drills and daily homework. It turns learning into competitive sport.

But this is not the only way.

At Kolisko Waldorf School (KWS), children are given space and time for unstructured play and discovery, art, music, and movement which instill in them a love for learning. This results in the formation of highly creative individuals who have the ability to think for themselves and come up with innovative solutions to problems that come their way. Children are allowed to unfold their unique potential and engage in society.

If you want to know more about creative education, we invite you to attend NURTURE, the Waldorf way of educating the head, heart and hands on April 20, 2013 (Saturday), 8:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at 22 Alabama Street, Brgy. Kristong Hari, New Manila, Quezon City (near Christ the King Seminary and Tri-Place Hotel).

This Open House will be one morning of fun and discovery with KWS students, parents and teachers as guests experience what students go through in pre-school, lower school and middle school. There will be talks and testimonials, an open forum, musical performances, exhibits, and raffle prizes.

There are only limited seats so please do pre-register by calling/texting 723-1549, 710-5279, 0920-4023860 or sending email to kolisko.waldorf.school@gmail.com.
