How to get published in newspapers and magazines

Would you like to add “writer” to your designation? Are you tired of writing for a journal and would like to reach an audience (apart from just yourself or your nosey mother)? Do you believe you have what it takes to be a writer but don’t know how to have your work published?

Check out the latest edition of the Freelance Writers’ Guild of the Philippines (FWGP) workshops on April 28, Sunday.  Find out from published writers and mother-and-son team Claire Agbayani and Gideon Isidro how you can turn your ideas into actual feature articles, and how you could have your work published even if you don’t know anyone in the newspaper or magazine business.

They can even monitor your  progress even after the workshop is over! How’s that for  “after-sales service?  It’s a worthy investment for a lifetime hobby, avocation, or – hold your breath -- a career shift!

The workshop will be held from 3:30 – 7:30 p.m. on April 28, Sunday, at 47 EAST Business Hub, 47 Esteban Abada St., Loyola Heights, Quezon City. Limited slots. For reservations call Ime  at 09158798264 o e-mail morales.ime@gmail.com. Workshop partners include 47 EAST Business Hub and The Solana Suites.
