SONY launches new Bravia TV series with Triluminos Display

To capture the minds, hearts – and eyes – of discerning consumers, Sony Philippines launches its latest BRAVIA® television line-up, showcasing how color should be. The new line features Sony’s proprietary TRILUMINOS™ Display technology, which captures the power of color and clarity in pictures for a truly immersive experience. The new line-up will start being available in stores this April, with the TRILUMINOS™ Display lines arriving in June.

 

The new television lines to be launched are the X9004A, featuring both TRILUMINOS™ Display and the 4K X-Reality Pro picture engine; the W954A/904A, which uses TRILUMINOS™ and the X-Reality Pro; the W804A/704A/654A/674A running on X-Reality Pro; and the R550A with the Clear Resolution Enhancer.

The new range of BRAVIA® models combine the latest technologies available only on Sony televisions, encompassing picture quality, sound innovation, integrated usability, and seamless design.

 

The TRILUMINOS™ Display provides a heightened sense of depth to images, showcasing colors as they should be. This next-generation back-lit technology expands the gamut of viewable colors, reproducing natural shades for a more vivid, richer, and more intense range that’s as close to reality as television gets. The 4K X-Reality Pro picture engine shows more natural detail and sharpness four times that of a Full HD TV, as pictures from any source are analyzed, cleaned, and refined. Just like seeing real life, a natural depth of field can be enjoyed with the latest Reality Creation database and Super Resolution processing, regardless whether you are watching in 2D or 3D.

 

With superlative sound utilizing the unique-to-Sony Magnetic Fluid Speaker, rich bass from the Long Duct Speaker, or an ultra-slim form on the Bass Reflex Box Speaker, each model has the best sound to match the best picture quality. From signal to final sound, it delivers an experience that matches the realism of the images.

 

And for truly integrated TV watching, select models combine the capabilities of your hand-held devices onto the big screen with One-Touch Mirroring technology for NFC-enabled Xperia™ phones. Wirelessly connect your smartphone or tablet and use phone apps, share music, browse the Internet, Skype™ with friends, and control your television right from your device.

 

Designed with a distinctive Sony BRAVIA® silhouette, each model evokes a “Sense of Quartz” with a glass slate that seems to float over a ring-shaped base. Whether your home is shabby chic or a modern marvel, a new BRAVIA® model will match its design sensibilities.

 

The models

 

The top-line model is the X9004A, which uses the latest TRILUMINOS™ Display running on the 4K X-Reality Pro picture engine. Whatever you’re watching, you’re seeing detail so rich, it’s beyond HD, with a matching sound powered by a Magnetic Fluid Speaker.

 

Other models featuring the TRILUMINOS™ Display are the W954A and the W904A, this time running on X-Reality Pro. As with the X9004A, these models feature one-touch and screen mirroring for the best quality ever, from any picture source.

 

For crisper, more detailed pictures with less noise, the W804A/704A/674A/654A and the R550A respectively use the X-Reality Pro and the Clear Resolution Enhancer. The former also feature a Bass Reflex Box Speaker, while all models feature screen mirroring. These models allow you to enjoy a television that’s made for your smartphone.

 

In addition, all of the new BRAVIA models feature Motionflow™ XR, providing the smoothest experience even when viewing the fastest action.
