Zest Air to airlift relief goods for free

Zest Air has offered to airlift relief goods, for free, to Metro Manila from its cargo stations in Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, Kalibo, Iloilo, Bacolod, Tagbilaran, Puerto Princesa and Tacloban. Starting Wednesday, relief goods and donations will be accepted for free airlift from the cargo stations to help flood victims in the National Capital Region (NCR) and nearby provinces. Interested organizations may avail of this service by sending an email to Ernest Bernal at mnlcargo@flyzest.com, Zest Air head of cargo team. Relief goods should be packed in boxes with a list of items, their estimate value, size and weight in kilos including the complete contact details of their counterpart NGO or consignee, said Zest Air. The airline's operator, Zest Airways Inc., was previously suspended by the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) for failing to comply with flight standards. Zest Air resumed some international and domestic flights Tuesday after the CAAP lifted the airline's suspension order after determining that the airline had addressed the issues held against it. For more information, call +632.8511801 or proceed to Zest Air’s cargo office in Domestic Road, Andrews Road, Pasay City. For provincial cargo relief operations, call Cargo Operations General Manager Ritchel Jungco at +632.917.7198808 and +632.922.8102342. — Kim Luces/DVM, GMA News
