Adamson University launches ‘The Absolution’

Adamson University will launch “The Absolution” on Tuesday, February 11, at 4 p.m. at The Patio of the Art Gallery.

The Absolution, a book written by Fr. Francis Cruz, C.M., former director of the Institutional Development and External Affairs Office of Adamson, “is a reflection on faith, the priesthood and all the uncomfortable spaces in between. Part narrative and part mini-manual on life, it provides a window into the humanity of its writer and his kind even as it relentlessly seeks the absolution it does not ask for.”

Fr. Francis belongs to the Congregation of the Mission (the Vincentians) and has worked as campus minister, assistant parish priest, seminary teacher of Media in Ministry and as a missionary in mainland China. He taught writing to American and Chinese college students for some years. He also writes music. The Absolution is his first book.

The book is published by the Ateneo de Manila University Press.
