The US Embassy brings the best of the USA to Manila with ‘America In 3D’
The US Embassy is proud to present America in 3D, our flagship multi-media, entertainment, and education event at SM Mall of Asia on March 1 and 2.
America in 3D is a unique “road show” showcasing the US Embassy and its programs, services, and people throughout the Philippines.
The three “D’s” of Development, Diplomacy, and Defense are highlighted through colorful interaction points, displays, and special informational sessions where members of the public have the unique opportunity to speak directly with US Embassy representatives from the Consular Section, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, the US Peace Corps, the United States Agency for International Development, and the Philippine-American Educational Foundation.
American-inspired musical and dance performances are a special part of the A3D program, including appearances by Jed Madela, Charice Pempengco, Razorback, the US Navy’s 7th Fleet Band, Luke Mejares, and talented gospel singers and hip-hop groups.
At America in 3D, visitors can take part in contests to win exciting prizes, sample great American food prepared by an up-and-coming young American chef, attend the screening of an award-winning film, take part in baseball and basketball clinics, check out vintage American cars, gather information about applying for a US visa, studying in the US, and learn about the whole range of programs and services offered by the US Embassy in the Philippines. All events are free for the entire family.
The two-day extravaganza begins at the SM MOA’s Main Atrium 10 a.m., Saturday, March 1. For schedule of events, please visit the America in 3D website or log onto the US Embassy Facebook page. You may also visit the US Embassy's website or follow our Twitter account.
