DLSU professor named Outstanding World Researcher 2014

DLSU Professor and University Fellow Dr. Alvin Culaba was honored by the International Association of Multidisciplinary Research (IAMURE) by naming him this year’s Outstanding World Researcher. The awarding ceremony, which was part of the 2014 World Research Festival, took place this May 1, at the Radisson Blu Hotel.

The Outstanding World Researcher Award is given every year to researchers who have global research contributions through scientific articles in international journal publications, speakership and lectureship engagements in research, social responsibility to the scientific community as editor and peer reviewer in national and international journals, and an H-Index of 15. Criteria for judging include international publication, citation count, and social responsibility.

This year’s panel of judges is comprised of noted professors and researchers Dr. Pedro Bernaldes of Osaka University, Dr. Jose Martinez of University of Puerto Rico, Dr. Masheshvari Naidu of University of Kwazulu- Natal, Dr. Moktar Lamari of University of Quebec, and Dr. Djuwari of STIE Perbanas Surabaya.
